Nagpur Bureau: Nagpur is ready to host the Civil20 India 2023 Inception Conference. The Inception Conference will take place at Radisson Blu Hotel, Nagpur from 20-22 March 2023. The conference will present a perspective of the Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and this will be a non-government and non-business perspective.
C20 India 2023 is one of the official Engagement Groups of the G20 that provides a platform for Civil Society Organizations (CSO) around the world to voice the people’s aspirations to the world leaders in G20. Civil20 India 2023 envisions a world where individual, family, society, market and state can supplement each other rather than engaging in conflicts. The Civil20 India 2023 Inception Conference will be a forum to present recent, past, and proposed initiatives of the CSOs including those which are in line with the objectives of the Indian Presidency of the G20s.
14 Working Groups have been formed under Civil20 India 2023 which include themes such as education, health, environment, technology, traditional arts, democracy, human rights and sustainable development. Civil20 India Inception Conference will see the presence of high level national and international experts, academicians, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and policy practitioners including senior government officials who will deliberate upon these themes.
The Civil20 India 2023 Inception conference will be graced by eminent speakers, prominent among whom are Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Kailash Satyarthi, Nobel Laureate, Shri Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, President of the Indian Council for Cultural Research, Shri Ah Maftuchan C20 Sherpa Indonesia, Ambassador Vijay Nambiar, Civil20 India Sherpa and Ambassador Abhay Thakur, Sous Sherpa G20 India.
